Michael O'Brien

Founder & Addiction Specialist

I'm Passionate About Inspiring & Helping Others

I'm honored to have served those with substance abuse issues for over 14 years. During that time I've had the pleasure of helping individuals, families, executives, college students, and organizations by providing addiction services in a multitude of settings.

As a graduate of Bethany University's Addiction Counseling program, I have earned seven-state, and one national addiction credential, throughout my career. I have over 20,000 hours of counseling experience. I have founded treatment programs, directed rehabilitation services at one of California's largest men's programs, provided consulting services to residential and outpatient programs. I also train other professionals in the field of addiction private practice. I'm confident that if you are willing to have a conversation about making changes in your life that we can create a plan to address your substance abuse issues and create lasting positive change.

I am also the author of Addiction Private Practice: The Definitive Guide for Addiction Counselors and Therapists. A complete manual for mental health professionals on how to launch an addiction-focused private practice. I have two additional non-fiction books in production for publication in 2020 and 2021.
