I'm Passionate About Helping Others
Overcome Substance Abuse and Mental Health Issues

Substance abuse is one of the toughest problems someone can face. It’s a vicious cycle of making some progress, then backsliding and experiencing the shame, guilt, and fear all over again. Has it been the one thing you haven’t been able to overcome on your own?  Have you searched for ways to overcome this, but nothing seems to be “sticking”? The good news is that you do not have to do this alone! Let’s do this together with an individualized program developed just for you. You can break this cycle and recover in private, one-on-one sessions that are totally confidential. Starting today, you can put an end to this cycle and reclaim your life and your dignity. You do not have to do this alone.

I know you can do this because I have been helping people recover for over eight years. I am also a person in long-term recovery who sought to understand this disease in depth so that I could sit right across from you and come alongside you, just as many people did for me. As a Ph.D., with a specialization in Substance Use Disorders, I can help you achieve freedom from substance abuse by learning new coping skills and implementing proven strategies. We will create a personalized plan you can achieve based on your values and goals and break the cycle. If you are contemplating change, now is the time to start, don’t suffer another day.

I also work with individuals who have mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. In addition, I enjoy helping couples and families work through marital, relationship, and codependency issues.

I hold a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision, with a specialization in Substance Use Disorders. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas, and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Idaho. I have additional experience and expertise in helping men and women, LGBTQ+, and those suffering from Addiction-Related Grief and Loss.
